This innovative new tech "solution" making what was once the cheapest and easiest thing to upgrade needlessly expensive is so appropriate. GOD I hate it here

I have seen some talks of the constant acceleration and mechanics being confusing for folks, but my personal read is just that this is only going to come up if you have a lot of baked in expectations of racing game controls and mechanics largely. It's fascinating.

This isn't to say it lacks depth or anything but it significantly reduces the amount of time your brain is focused on holding buttons or doing types of inputs, and I think this eases a lot of folks into the learning process.

I think its helpful that its different vehicles all control wildly different and the game has like two buttons tops. A lot of experienced players get stumped but I personally think the barrier to entry here is really low

I dislike FBs but not really for the concept itself, more that they flatten out the meter usage and are wayyyyy too good in +R on average. I like Anji's FBs a lot, but he's an outlier. FRC is awesome though
