Update: had to put the thunder coat on her last night (bc thunder) and usually she will immediately be up and begging to have the coat taken off in the morning. But since I covered her with blanky she hasn't moved.

This sucks dude.

Also fun to know that even if I go nuclear and turn everything off, people I'm emailing no longer have to actually read my emails and will be reading an ai overview instead.

Ugh this is the first time I'm seeing this but apparently it's a new feature and the only way to turn off ai overview is to disable all other email functions like automatically making calendar events, etc.

The other day my mom moved the banana bed to vacuum and forgot to put it back. Poppy just stood in the middle of the room forlornly until someone noticed, because she had no place to sit. She loves her banana.

The secret is just not looking at the news, unfortunately.
And also having a very nice heavy cat to sit on your lap if you do have to look at the news.

Anyway, I took a lot of holiday vacation & then had some extra days off the past two weeks to be around while my mom has eye surgery. My vacation days are coming to an end & my sister is going back out of state, which is a little sad, but I've had a very nice holiday.

also I've been watching my sister play Disco Elysium for the first time and it has been delightful seeing her go from "These options are all weird, I'm just gonna be a regular cop" to "Regular cop is boring, I'm gonna be a communard" to "Wait can I be gay?? Can I be gay AND art cop??"

We painted a few more rocks this afternoon. Really proud of my gator.
