I have now played through again to the credits and can confirm that the revised ending is much better wrt Melinoe’s agency, not bumming me the fuck out on Persephone‘s behalf, generally hanging together and making sense like at all
OTOH I took the “reminiscence” thing to experience the allegedly improved ending and took me back uhhh a lot further than I thought. I thought it was going to just be cutscenes but you have to fully re-beat the game. as if this was my first clear
