Got emotions too big to express or even really feel fully right now, suffice it to say I feel so lucky to have such compassionate, supportive, amazing people around me. I don't think I'll ever be able to repay it, but I will do my best to show as much kindness as has been shown to me.

In N*zi Germany there was a loose coalition of youth activists opposing the H Youth who called themselves the Eidelweißpiraten (Eidelweiss Pirates). They dropped leaflets, sabotaged H Youth activities and generally annoyed the N*zis. I just thought that was neat, apropos of nothing. 🦄

This is for me too. I'm staying with Mom to do caregiving while my dad goes and uses his old white guy privilege to protest on behalf of all of us. I'm packing water, masks and snacks for him and letting him borrow my cross-body bag. Wish I could go too, but Mom needs someone.
