Shocking. I was in Romania a few years ago and a "sausage" was spherical. But was also meaty so I did not partake.

I once asked Tim Hunt who funded the work that got him the Nobel prize. He said nobody, we were “between grants”, just fiddling around.

We suggested in March 2020 that widespread masking (along with other measures) could nip the COVID-19 pandemic in the bud. I still think we were right.

Yes similar. I was at a girls’ grammar school at a similar time and I don’t recall any “banter”. There were a few Nigerian girls and we were curious to hear what it was like in Nigeria, but afaik there wasn’t bullying.
