Your baseless claim is factually incorrect. Over here in reality, based on extensive credible evidence held to rigorous standards of peer-review and independent scrutiny, every major medical/psychological body on the planet recognizes the well-established fact that transgender women are women.

One of the things we learned during our High Court case against Reform is its propensity, nakedly and without embarassment, to lie. Only the blissfully naive would take its explanation for this at face value.

Dinner last night with leading feminist thinkers Dr Charlotte Proudman, Prof Catherine MacKinnon and the Harvard academic Mischa Shuman. One of the most profound compliments for the work I get to do is being considered safe to be invited into intimate spaces in communities to which I do not belong.

Women have a right to single sex females spaces, and trans women are women. Children already do not medically transition. Puberty blockers are not "transitioning." They are buying time and making a future transition easier. Denying them appropriate health care is sick.

It's not just the decision to give public money and public data to a sworn enemy of everything we stand for, appalling though that is. It's also the secrecy and illegal shutting out of any competition. What does Palantir have on Streeting and Starmer - and did Mandelson give it to them?

What always amazes me about this 'trans stuff' is that those most vocally opposed to supporting trans people have never met a trans person, have never spoken to a trans person and have almost zero chance of ever being impacted by measures to support trans people.
Is it just an excuse to be a bigot?

That would be because the right wing / continuity-Britain media ecosystem knows he can be relied upon to be a faithful servant to their interests. Even more faithful than Starmer.
I’m still confused that Streeting isn’t in trouble over *his* links to Mandelson.

Here's what bugs me. They'll say trans people are responsible for low birth rates, but then they'll criticize a trans man who becomes a seahorse dad. And they refuse to address actual issues behind low birth rates like cost of living, child care, economic instability, climate change, and the rest.

i don't particularly disagree with a lot of the critiques of anarchist activism by liberals but I bristle when they act as if their best practices are any wiser. we're here because none of us figured out how to avoid being here.

It is possible to thread the needle on critiquing white women who participate in colonial and racist and misogynist systems without engaging in misogyny. Not all critiques of women are misogyny, because it is possible for women to also participate in misogyny. Very possible!

I think it’s pretty clear these days that people who have achieved success within this system don’t start as good people who care about others and treat them with kindness, and only get worse as their bank accounts place them beyond any kind of need for community.

I think it’s always good to examine the stories that story-tellers tell about themselves. And particularly when an artist is OUTRAGEOUSLY successful in our capitalist and colonial system, it’s almost always because they’re willing to step on necks.
