Our furbaby has always been super affectionate. But we've never gone this long without the heat being on and it's the first time I've ever had a Dr. Claw style lap cat. He's been curled up in my lap all morning, getting pets and dreaming of hunting little rodents.

Last year around this time, we spontaneously went to a farm with Captain Keye for pumpkin and apple picking. We had a blast and made fresh apple pies for the crew.

For 20 years I had struggled with a model H. It made me think I'll never understand painting. Then, i got a generic dual action brush because it came with a moisture trap. Suddenly airbrushing seemed good. Today i got to use an Iwata Eclipse, and my skills are apparent. Tools matter!

I originally made this 2 foot tall Krystal model out of pure hubris, trying to push my little resin printer until it literally broke. But it's also been a good test unit. I was hoping to sell stuff like this, but it's been three years and I've yet to build one. Model is @chunkerbuns.bsky.social
