Undated postcard from my collection. I love the white business on the side! It kind of seems like an accident rather than a deliberate choice but it looks very cool.
Black-and-white photo of a white medium haired cat sitting up for a studio portrait with a black background and on a black surface. The contrast between the flat black setting and the furry wispy white cat is quite striking. Adding to this is the fact that something has gone wrong in the photographic or printing process on the right half of the photo and a jagged white shape appears to take over the image from the side. This doesn’t seem deliberate, more like an accident, as I’ve never seen it before in any other photo or postcard, but the effect is very cool.
