I think I've figured out what the "AI" investor endgame is. They're sticking it into everything whether it's needed or not so that when the crash comes they can try to make a 'too big to fail' play for a bailout.

Hint: they're not too big to fail. They're failing already.

Here's the thing, speaking as a committed Democrat.

If the Epstein files take down several Democrats as well as several Republicans, I'm fine with that. I work for my local county children services and if you've been abusing under-age people, you DESERVE to go down in flames.

And while I'm thinking about art, this is for the AI companies out there: if your business model relies on wholesale intellectual property theft, you don't have a business model. You have a crime syndicate.

So in some non-political content, I'd like to offer folks a look at some of my photography work. I'm no Alfred Stieglitz, but I do have fun and hope I have an eye for catching things.

Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?

Being from the Toledo area, I would be remiss to not mark the 50th anniversary of the loss of Big Fitz.

A shred of good news. Now Kim "I believe in the sanctity of marriage so much I've done it four times" Davis can go crawl back under her rock and stay there. www.supremecourt.gov/orders/court...

@schumer.senate.gov, you do not have a deal and you know you do not have a deal. We don't want a future vote on an ACA extension, we need it saved *now*.

If you can't do that, then in the words of Leo Amory to Neville Chamberlain in 1940, "In the name of God, go!"

Oh no! www.rollingstone.com/music/music-...

I first started listening to the Dead in 1981, so the '70s concerts were the tapes most in circulation, and Donna was of course part of that sound. 1970s Dead is still beautiful all these years later.

I appreciate Dick Cheney coming out for equal marriage and against Trump, *but* never forget he approved of torture, lied us into an unnecessary war, instigated the so-called war on terror, and was an architect of the 'imperial presidency'. Trump is partly *because* of him, not in spite of him.

I’ll give Dick Cheney props for one thing. When he said New York would have a Muslim mayor over his dead body, he really meant it… 😳

I am a single issue voter in 2028 and that issue is putting a whole lot of motherfuckers in jail for the rest of their fucking lives.
a good evening to remember that the statute of limitations for a lot of federal crimes is longer than five years, and that state crimes cannot be pardoned by the President.

File under 'Stupid Science Headlines': no, they are *not* "evolving in reverse" or "de-evolving". They are evolving to fit their environment and that favors expressing ancient traits that haven't been used in a while. Evolution is a one-way process: forward.

Tomatoes in The Galapagos Islands Appear to Be Evolving in Reverse
The idea of evolution backtracking isn't a completely new idea, but catching it in action isn't an everyday experience.

We didn't have many contested offices on the ballot this year—all but one council seat and the school board were uncontested, and they're pretty much all endorsed Democrats even if they technically have to run as non-partisan.
