Astoria, Software Eng. - I'd like to live in a city that is enjoyable to walk in; great public transit; low COL that also allows the middle class and below to thrive; lots of green space, peaceful, etc. Trying to morph NYC into that, wouldn't that be sick?

Raleigh increased bus service from every 30 min to every 15 min on its route serving Glenwood Ave. Ridership then doubled in the year that followed.

@nycspeakeradams.bsky.social will you be endorsing other candidates in the mayoral primaries? You are currently polling below Zohran. And it doesn’t seem as if your votes are going to him. If you don’t endorse 4 other candidates besides yourselves NYC will once again miss out on great mayors.

@nycsanitation.bsky.social at 1:45 am today, a garbage truck under Avid Waste Systems barreled through a red light on 30th ave Astoria. They also sped down a residential street (44/45th) before I crossed and then hard braked, seeing me. This is insane, void their contract. Someone could have died.
