More work on the System Nav system! It's almost at a point where I'm going to leave it for a bit as I move on to other things. There's still the details window on the right, which will also integrate into known space nav...

Ok, I am fairly proud of this one. I had a few days full of brick walls and dead ends, but this is what I have been envisioning. The System Map is definitely not yet complete, but this is the LOOK I have been going for.

Rough few days with less to show for it than I was hoping. Currently working on better organizing the music system so that it'll be easy to associate specific characters/races/locations with particular tunes.

Mostly behind the scenes things and work on developer tools this past weekend. The only really visible thing was a bug fix. Coms Talk now fades behind the pause screen as intended, rather than just hanging out on top of it.

Just a funny bug this time... transparency in the accessory layer makes layers beneath it transparent as well. So this poor fretzer's upper torso is partly see through. Also a cool new outfit design by Anne!

This is a little show of the environment that Ben is creating music in! Most of the music he's making is from his synth setup (including legit SNES hardware based MIDI!), but here he's mixing in physical instruments as well!

Playing with different ideas for menu sounds and noises. Not sure if this is the feeling I'm going for with this menu, but I'm definitely getting more of a feel for it! Also gonna lose the magenta button color for something easier on the eyes...

Added the ability to disable other ships if you zap them with a laser once their shields are down... with special guest appearance of code debugger. XD

Did some more work on the nebula system... they blobulate and drift around a bit more now and I'm pretty happy with how they look! I will probably tweak a bit down the road, but for now they're working as intended...

Making space much prettier! Planets dominate large portions of the screen now, which I think looks better than having them be tiny little specks. Also, the atmosphere and animated water is working properly now! And in the background, shifting nebulas!
