So I finished reading Make Room for Love last week, and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it.

It was the first romance novel that I read in its entirety, and it's also the first time I've been so overwhelmed by a book that I wrote fanmail to the author.

One of the things I try to keep in mind is the airline emergency mask principle. If you don’t make sure you’re functional and secure first before you help others, you run a risk of injuring yourself in your efforts to aid, and risk helping no one and adding to the problem.

I read Swamp Thing: Love and Death, by Moore, Bissette, and Totleben at 12, and it was incredible. It presented my young mind with the idea that faith could be subjective, that evil was selfish and petty, and that love could find its own way. I was introduced to Horror and Beauty and Love.
