Ticketing data obtained by Streetsblog shows that criminal summonses for running red lights and other offenses remain above even the initial surge that came with this spring's rollout of the criminal crackdown on cyclists.

Cristian Vazquez is the seventh person on a bike to be killed by dooring this year in New York City. He was riding an electric Citi Bike, capped at 15 mph. Mayor Adams' e-bike speed limit didn't save his life. A protected bike lane might have.
