The part that gets me is when I'm saying things plainly and flatly and people are adding all sorts of meaning on top of it.
For what it's worth, I think you're a clear communicator. There's never a moment in text or voice where things don't make sense to me.

Not only was I a special needs child who didn't have any supports, I grew up in a system that actually punished me for being a victim.

But I think the worst was in grade 2 when a teacher told me I was being disruptive for reporting that I was sick (while visibly shivering) and sent me to the hall as punishment... Where I went unconscious from sepsis due to bilateral pneumonia. I spent a week in ICU, not that I remember any of it.
