Things can change fairly quickly in YNP 😀. This is typical for the Gardiner area but at the higher elevations in the park snow is still present. However, long-term trends indicate less snowfall in general during the winter months.

This is a just preliminary study at the moment. If the project is approved, construction would begin sometime in 2027.

I agree. I drove to NY from Bozeman in Dec/Jan of 2023/24 and there was never any snow on the ground along the entire route!!! Only the peaks in MT/WY had snow up high. Crazy.
