The origins of almost every serious current problem in America began with Reagan. This book brings the receipts.

So many questions. Like why have a pet chicken with so many dogs? and how did the chicken get a balloon? and how did someone train the chicken to carry a balloon? and why?! and with 3 malamute mixes, how is the house still standing?🤣

AI promises the enshittification of art. Put another way, AI seeks to refine ideas toward the most conventional. Creativity in art, on the other hand, always looks to explore the outer edges. That is why great art is great art - it reveals something new about us rather than reinforcing the obvious.

Surveillance pricing is the next big thing in tech and it should piss you off.

The most important point he makes is that AI is not going to take your job. Some exec is going to take your job and give it to AI because he doesn't want to pay you any more. THAT is the simple truth. It is far less about the technology and far more about how the people who have it, use it.

There are 2 Americas: one for the very wealthy and one for everyone else. McLean is a tony suburb of DC where A LOT of congressmen, lobbyists, lawyers, judges, tech execs, defense contractors, etc live. ICE will never go there despite their being lots of illegals who work there.

One would think that we would learn from history about corporations that were too big to fail, but nope, we just keep ignoring history and its consequences. Time for another Boston Tea Party, but with a little more global impact.

It is actually kind of impressive in a very masochistic kind of way that the administration has found people this uninformed and utterly clueless how anything works to appoint, and that the GOP in Congress support it. Seriously, the guy was only off on the origin story by 5k years. 🤦‍♂️🤡🚗

New tactic - attack EVERYTHING about then. Be relentless. Be unmerciful. Make them feel the personal pain they inflict on millions. One can forgive mistakes in judgment. But fully aware and conscious evil that doubles down on that evil? Nope. Begone!

As expected, it's not bad enough that Trump's "peace plan" for Ukraine has a large serving of grift. War profiteering was a serious felony at one point in our history but Trump and the GOP regularly make criming a policy choice.

One thing that can ALWAYS be counted on is MAGA not knowing what they are talking about before commenting. For example, they always say things were worse under Biden, when almost universally they were better, and when it wasn't it was only temporary. With Trump? Not so much.

This is why climate policy is non-negotiable, *especially* when it comes to corporate interests. Because they don't care about what happens to the victims. They only care about cost containment for the continued production of profits.

Why don't we buy into the notion that establishment Democrats know what they are doing? Because they absolutely don't and the scoreboard don't lie. It's time we let the Mamdanis and AOCs take it from here.

This is the best explanation of crypto currency I've seen. It also explains why criminals are the only ones who really use it.

Trump's pick to head the Bureau of Land Management hates the idea of publicly owned lands (like national parks). He has made a career of dismissing the benefits. For those playing at home, the US gov't spends $3 billion maintaining nat'l parks, which return $53 billion in revenue. Not a misprint.

Share this video, get out the vote in Tennessee! Let's get someone in Congress who represents the actual citizens of the district they vote in instead of some wealthy donor who lives in another state.
