It's not a picture of Kylo Ren in Snoke's throne room from Episode VIII even though I wanted that because the res on the backgrounds in the pictures that I could find from there is terrible. It's hard to say if Kondo has actually said "Does it spark joy" or if it's more of an "Elementary, my dear Watson"-type situation where she's famous for the elements of the catchphrase but it's actually been remixed for transmission. For instance, the Rule 6 page on her website phrases the question as "Does this spark joy?", using "this" instead of "it", but that would be murder on the layout. This meme brought to you by excessive editorial effort.
