Also, I thought naturalized citizens were advised to keep their cert of naturalization in a safe place. Carrying with you is not a safe place.

They're refusing to look at documents/IDs, instead requiring agents to use their face scanning software.

And if someone is natural-born, then what? Are we all supposed to be carrying birth certificates?

There are a lot of shades on the spectrum between Karen and whatever that guy is.
Because yeah, you can be so poorly behaved or incompetent enough that you deserve to lose your job.

Saw a video once where both an Asian guy and his white friend walked in separately by a couple minutes and ordered the same to-go order extra spicy. Then they went back to their car to compare the spice level.

The threat was lengthy detention in horrible conditions and deportation proceedings. It's one of their tactics. They give some people a choice to leave voluntarily or be stuffed in a detention center for who knows how long.

Unfortunately, she's not technically lying about that particular case. They threatened to detain Mr. Park and deport him and told him he'd likely be detained for a while, or he could self-deport. He chose to self-deport.
It's still fucked up.

Yeah, the marriage is toxic. She married him after I moved away. We actually had the "If you ever need to leave" talk beginning of this year, letting her know I'm there for her.

She hated Trump before. She complained about her husband being right wing as recently as early this year and how that crap was always on the tv.
Dammit.

That one issue that originally grabbed her probably shifted her algorithm. For her, it was the grooming gang scandal in the UK (we're American, which made it all the more odd when she started posting about it, and went on to be more overtly anti-Islam).

Multiple factors play in, I think.
Her current husband is a massive Trumper asshole. She used to complain about it to me. But she's very submissive. He's the kind of guy that blames her when the kids get sick. She's always leaned more clean eating, but he hates doctors and processed foods.
