There's coherence to American politics, the mistake is that people keep looking for an *ideological* coherence rather than the coherent personality behind the incoherent ideology...

This is their whole thing, I fear. Crimes are bad not because of harms or severity, but because they break the social rules of uniformity. So "you did treason and also you didn't even keep your gig line straight" makes perfect sense, it's two ways you broke their order, the harm doesn't factor in.

Apparently they didn't deactivate/delete... they just detached/blocked Ify so the thread wouldn't show - someone else linked to it in replies.

I wish more people just would withhold their "I just know there's SOMETHING, the VIBES are OFF" takes. Vibes are such a common refuge of subconscious bias.

This... this is the opposite of prototyping. You're proving that a human can take notes in a meeting. That's already a thing we know works!

Exactly. The way I think about it is, your immediate visual/physical attraction is largely a hindbrain, instinct response, and that part of your brain does *not* understand things like power dynamics. It's up to the *other* parts of your brain to process and control that initial response/input.
