I've been saying since last yr that I prefer Shapiro, Whitmer or PB not Newsom for 2028, although it's way too early. I thought being governor of Cal comes with too much baggage. I didn't however know he was an opportunistic sellout. Reaching out across the aisle is good but Kirk & Bannon?. Really?.
I love how Gavin Newsom, a man I've long suspected to be an opportunistic sleaze, has finally revealed himself to the folks whose political bullshit detectors may not be as finely tuned. He's making it easy for everyone!

I was always a fan of almost all of Bernie's domestic agenda. My main issue with him was foreign policy. Today he proved me wrong. Not only did he defend @ZelenskyyUa's historic leadership but he did it knowing full well that a lot of his supporters would hate it. Principles over politics.

We've been seeing that in Venezuela for 20 years. The media & some "opposition" politicians normalizing an authoritarian govt out of fear or because they were paid off. Apart from it being morally repugnant, it's ineffective. They came after them anyway.
