Yeah, I think thats the point. They wanted to show a normal guy become an irredeemable monster, but Jimmy isn't all bad. He garners way more sympathy and I love that.

Breaking Bad is incredibly well made and compelling but Better Call Saul is just way more enjoyable emotionally.
