Ohio Players - Honey - Mercury Records 1975
The last in a string of three platinum records in a row that they released in 1974-1975. Contains the hit song “Love Rollercoaster” that was later covered by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the song “Fopp” that was covered by Soundgarden. #OhioPlayers

Jim Croce - Life and Times - ABC Records 1973.
His fourth studio album and the last to be released before he tragically died in a plane crash. Contains the massive hit “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown”. Oddly enough, Michael Kamen plays oboe on one song. Yes, that Michael Kamen. #JimCroce

Olivia Newton-John - Let Me Be There - MCA 1973
Her third studio album and the one that propelled her towards superstardom in the United States. The title track was her first top ten hit. She had the voice of an angel and physical beauty to match. I love her early stuff.

How many asinine TV shows do we need with the word “Wars” in the title? 🤮

I am saddened to hear of the passing of the brilliant artist Jim Silke. I met him at the 2000 San Diego Comic-Con and he scribbled this in my sketchbook.

On this date in 1982 I saw Ozzy Osbourne in Champaign, Illinois. During the first song Ozzy sang three words and then collapsed and the show abruptly ended. Ozzy's guitar player Randy Rhoads was killed in a plane crash less than two months later. At least I got to see him for one song.

On this date in 1984 I saw Quiet Riot, Saga, and Girlschool at Roberts Stadium in Evansville, Indiana. Quiet Riot was riding high on the success of their Metal Health album and their hit song Come On Feel The Noise. Saga also had a hit song at the time, On The Loose. Fun show!

How can you call yourself a real Star Wars fan if you didn’t even see the original film in the theater when it came out? Losers. A true fan would have been born at the proper time.

Comics I will never sell. These are the actual copies I bought new off the spinner racks in 1975-1976.
