Radiohead were phenomenal at the O2 tonight. 2 hours of magic.

Why does Joe always look so unhappy with his juice? Has he just been told the price?

I really liked Steven Soderbergh’s Black Bag. A quirky low key relationship drama in disguise as a spy thriller. Recommended.

This is the kind of show that doesn’t come around very often, where within half an episode something about the way it’s written/shot/acted clicks with you and you just know you’ll have to watch every second of it.

Can’t wait to see where Vince and team are headed. Really impressive.

The big man Ridley Scott at BFI Southbank. Very funny, very northern, absolutely zero bullshit.

I thought this was magnificent.

The fact that Nick Offerman really likes Highlander is further proof that he’s one of the good ones.

This was good and deserved to do better at the box office. Properly crafted and heartfelt, not cynical production line slop.

When you don’t get a Radiohead unlock code despite being a die hard fan for 30 years.

I even saw a film critic describe this (fantastic) poster as “so fucking ugly”.

Just pure spite. Mean, ignorant and anti-cinema.

Grow up.

Also tried this Hot Ones hot sauce for the first time. It’s delicious. It’s very painful. Recommended with caution.

The guy said “good luck!” when I tried it.

I’m at a meat festival. The best kind of festival.

Just out of Weapons, Zach Cregger’s follow up to Barbarian.

It’s good! Funny and creepy in equal measure with a lot of nightmarish imagery, ‘holy shit’ moments and allegory that I’m still mulling over.

Feels like a modern fairy tale.

And this might be recency bias but I think I had the best Guinness of my life last night.

Apologies to the many Dublin establishments that have given me many fine pints over the years.

First time visiting Belfast. It’s such a great city and I’ll definitely be back. Feels a lot like Glasgow (highly complimentary).

My expectations were low but this was good fun.

The cast has bags of charisma and great chemistry, and sometimes that’s all you need. I also liked the optimistic 1960s vision of the future.

Marvel could do a lot worse than base the MCU around them going forward.

Saw F1 earlier. Enjoyed it quite a bit.

Sometimes you just need a big, loud, cheesy action film with a gigantic movie star.

Unbelievably great racing scenes. Good performances. Deceptively tight script.

Very, very silly and the dialogue is 100% pure camembert but I had fun.

Decided to take a break from playing Death Stranding 2 and get some fresh air.

Saw a preview of FRIENDSHIP at Picturehouse Central tonight. It’s really great. Tim Robinson might be the funniest man in the world.

Just out of 28 Years Later. It’s absolutely superb! Scary, funny, thrilling and unexpectedly emotional with great acting and uncanny, dreamlike imagery. A horror fairytale.

Plus the ending is absolutely mental.

Highly recommended!
