The first piece of #Gear that is not for me but for @thisisyume.bsky.social - the 3-point heavy duty BioThane collar.
Not 100% satisfied with the how it went out but I hope it still suits her well.
You can even swap and combine different front and rear parts. Maybe for even more accessories later?

Soldering with paste and a old hot air pencil for the first time.
The first two buttons of this key fob needed rework with the soldering iron.
The 3rd ones looks ok in my opinion.
It's a breeze to work with it - literally. A light and very hot breeze.

Even on seemingly unrelated hobbies I'm working with rubber and silicone. In this case the rubber bumpers were goo(ne) and silicone tubing came to the rescue.
And oh god is the black goo one nasty pesky sticky mess in that case.

around 231 days of 24/7 continuous wear shows its signs. The glue between cushion and belt failed on the sides. The rear got glued back on a while ago.
Still have to figure out if the glue fails or if it was due to the way it was constructed - pressed flat instead of circular. Only time will tell.

The general idea of my cuffs and collar set date back to 2021. Drafts made in AutoCAD r10 on a WYSE - combining hobbies. Fast forward four years - the premise of looking fancy at 2Dance was the push I needed to make this a reality.
I ran out of rivets for the harness though.

mhhh... gooey rubber. Sadly at a very inconvenient spot. And some shiny oil, also at a location where it should not be.
