I mean it's warming up now but I also had to put patches on top of the sensor and it all takes such a chunk of my patience :")

Dexcom sensor placement at 12 am, because I don't wanna finger prick.

We suck at this game lol. Absolutely adore it though, it's really fun once you get into it. Great for distraction because of it being a rhythm game.

This was nice to do! My fingers only cramped a little, but this was fun to do despite that! Will try other LEGO projects in the future.

Yep. This is the life. Sorting and following instructions. Oh LEGO, we're really in it now...

Made a skeleton bat. It came out wonky and missing a few beads (the beads are a cheap off brand.) It's hanging on one of my bedroom walls rn. Really like it.

I got some new tea to try out. Currently trying out Honey Lemon Ginseng Green Tea from Celestial Seasonings.

Also got another box of Bengal Spice. Love it. Finally able to balance it, so it isn't overpowering my taste buds (those bags smell so strongly!)

Well. Feral Creatures (Hollow Kingdom part 2) was a delight from start to finish.

Finished "All Tangled Up In Autism and Chronic Illness" by @charliclement.bsky.social

Thank you for writing such an amazing book! It was really helpful, and I felt seen.

As a nonbinary autistic person, this topic has always stressed me out. I hated being told that there was something as "female autism".

Unnecessary gendering, and very confusing too. Where do you belong, when you're neither male or female, but people talk of male & female brains?

Holy shit maybe I should just print this out and let it remind me to brush my teeth

Also when I think of "Prikkel(s)" I think of Freddi Fish' Sea Urchins ("zee egels!" <- that translates to "sea hedgehogs")

Currently going through The Autism Friendly Cookbook. Finally at the recipes section of the book, at the breakfast part.

Found two things that sounded good so far!

These aren't the full pages. Just wanted to give you all a glimpse of the book.

Picture from last night.

The Stitch Squishmallow is my comfort plush atm (he's been to therapy with me on Thursday- the day I bought him together with my fidget cube).

I have been learning how to shuffle cards and I found out I have a new fave side of the fidget cube. I like three sides now.

It might help seeking out your Sensory Profile!

If you figure out your sensory needs - I know you said that Sound is the biggest factor - there are more senses to go around. It's a mix of hypersensitivity and hyposensitivity. And yes, it could manifest differently day by day.

Got The Autism Friendly Cook Book by Lydia Wilkins in the mail yesterday! Really excited to go through it and mark the pages with recipes I'd like to try.

I read about it in the book All Tangled Up In Autism And Chronic Illness by Charli Clement. Got so excited I had to get it.

I spend longer than an hour in the cold and hail and rain waiting for my packages but this was the first thing I saw when I was outside and I felt joy & took it as a sign that it would be alright for me today.

THE WAIT WAS WORTH IT.

.....why are they calling Bush "the daddy". Are Americans calling their presidents "daddy" all the time as if normal bc they're like father figures for their country? or do these authors have a crush I can Shame them for?
