I finished Dragon Age: The Veilguard and really liked it. Fun characters, game looked great, some beautiful design. It disgusts me that the game was used as outrage fodder for morons and EA threw the game and the team that worked on it to the wolves. Gamers don't deserve a new Mass Effect.

The first New Japan Pro Wrestling event I ever watched was Wrestle Kingdom 9 in 2015, with a main event of Kazuchika Okada v Hiroshi Tanahashi. So it's fitting that Tanahashi's final match is against Okada tonight at Wrestle Kingdom 20. Happy retirement Tanahashi-san!

Depressing end to the season for the Canberra Raiders. Fundamental defensive issues were papered over all season because they kept winning but unfortunately those issues have cost us in the finals. In another timeline they win the Broncos game and who knows from there. Not this timeline though.

Really special to see the Canberra Raiders win the minor premiership. More to do to win the big one but a wonderful achievement for a club that was tipped for the spoon by ‘experts’.

finished Death Stranding 2. More creativity and ideas than you’ll get in the rest of the year’s AAA offerings combined. Yoji Shinkawa’s design work so damn good. Very glad Hideo Kojima has the industry equity to make games like this.
