A-T-L Georgia what do we do for ya? Like them Georgetown Hoyas
This is the dog equivalent of the “I played against a NFL player in high school and he wrecked us without breaking a sweat” story

A 1-2-3 inning is a 1-2-3 inning

That looks amazing. The kind of dish that is just the perfect combination of everything in it

Can’t have two different debate groups if you don’t have some back benchers running for president. It’s like bowl games - the news networks need the content from the undercard

I’ve been doing rice, uncooked spinach / whatever veggies are available topped with over easy eggs and chili crisp as an easy dinner.

Very true - no way I’d have predicted second most goals scored without Cole for 8 matches and that’s before factoring in two early red cards.

That being said, sunderland getting a draw from Arsenal definitely helped the vibes

Some good luck with health & no more red card idiocy & Chelsea should finish within shouting distance of the winner and perhaps more if the front runners stumble. Should get their best finish since Conte’s first season. Seems unambitious, but any title ambitions were gone after Levi & Cole injuries

It’s pretty awesome and ends with a Gene Larkin hit

This is so true. I have a 9 mile round trip commute including daycare drop off. If I could get to daycare and my work in protected bike lanes, I’d use an electric bike. But I’m not taking a bike on North Ave or through Midtown and just hoping a car won’t hit me

Hornets is just British for Yellow Jackets

Shockingly not the case - Atlanta native and former Atlanta United left back is currently on loan to Watford from Chelsea

It’s definitely not to my taste. I want to see the best hitters get a chance to hit in late game situations in the World Series!
October 28, 2025 at 9:45 PM
Sure. They have discretion on a number of plays, like balks or the infield fly rule (and balls & strikes) Maybe they have to give a warning after the first 2 pitches before they can assess the penalty so it’s not a surprise. Just want to avoid going back to 4 soft tosses to the other batters box.
October 28, 2025 at 9:39 PM
Also that sucked last night watching Ohtani walk to the batter’s box and then getting pointed to first 4 times in a row and it sucks that teams don’t even have to compete against the best hitters in late game situations. Baseball has to try take that club out of managers’ bags
October 28, 2025 at 9:28 PM
Obviously you can’t prevent them from walking someone. But you can penalize them if they don’t do so in a competitive manner. Remove the auto walk & add some penalties for 4 pitch BBs where the pitcher doesn’t pitch. If they want to walk a hitter they have to pitch around them like Ohtani’s last AB
October 28, 2025 at 9:25 PM
That’s what front pockets are for.

On a completely unrelated topic that has nothing to do with the fact you apparently sit on your wallet all day, how’s your back?
October 28, 2025 at 8:47 PM
My thought is if you’re going to change the rules, let’s just try and get rid of them. It’s still annoying if they give Ohtani his first IBB in the 9th. Try and make pitchers pitch to the best hitters in late game situations
October 28, 2025 at 7:05 PM
Need to reintroduce the risk of a wild pitch or hanging a pitch that was supposed to be in the dirt
October 28, 2025 at 6:56 PM
I’m not even sure you give any no-question IBBs. I don’t think they are handed out that often in early innings & the goal would be to make teams pitch to the best hitters in end game situations, even if they’re pitching around them like Blue Jays did in Ohtani’s last AB.
October 28, 2025 at 6:55 PM
They were clearly pitching around Ohtani his last at bat, but the pitches were real and there was real risk that a pitch that missed its spot could be hit
