WTF are they even talking about here? (I got on the email list years ago "to see what the crazies were saying"... and then got tired of it, and TRIED, unsuccessfully, many times, to unsubscribe... I've now given up, generally delete but sometimes open one out of curiosity based on the re line)

I wish there was a way to (just temporarily, like... in a particular scrolling session) filter "only" the fun/lighthearted stuff. I don't want to be... totally "out of the loop", just... blissfully ignorant for like an hour at a time.

Returning from quick errand tonight, saw a loose dog trotting down the road. Flipped a u-turn in the (empty) intersection, rolled the window down & whistled/kissed at it.
Was a coyote. Looked at me like... um, ladywtf? My 100lb shepherd (riding shotgun) was SUPER interested in new possible buddy 😀🤦♀️

Can someone help me understand? [Context, I was literally googling for a quick explainer for my 18 y/o daughter (who is suddenly balking at "having to" go vote today in California because she wants to nap instead... I said fiiine, we'll go AFTER but lines will be longer after 5, so, before then)]

Never saw/heard of "The Gentlemen", was unaware who was in it but it's apparently on as background noise. Heard British accents & Matthew McConaughey so... ears pricked up a bit. Not long after, Charlie Hunnam & Hugh Grant's voices too. Nothing like a little *aural* sexytime 😉AND Colin Farrell? 😱🤪

I don't have "Halloween candy" $. House isn't decorated. Daughter won't be home. Can't afford to "go out". Instead of using the universal "lights off = no candy" signal & hiding, plan is: dress up (old costume & wig), go out trick-or-treating mySELF early, then home, pass THAT candy out to the kids🤷♀️

So much tear gas & flash grenades tonight at ICE in Portland. US Gestapo came out, pushed people back & held a line as other feds shot down tear gas canisters from the roof. People were dancing before this as an impromptu rave broke out

At the South Portland ICE facility, after pushing back the crowd to let some vehicles leave, agents gassed the street for approximately 10 minutes solid. S Bancroft was opaque with gas; agents also threw flash grenades and shot pepper bullets.

Is it normal here on BS for people/accounts to just start... following you? When you haven't "done" anything that would make sense to "get new" followers? I have only fb & tw/x experience to base it on... is this common/are they real/why? tw/x was scams/bots 99% when it wasn't a mutual thing, so...?
