Hope I can soon review Escape from the 21st Century

Imre Lakatos said that labeling any field as a pseudoscience is always done post hoc, and that it is more fruitful to instead take the science *as it was* at the time it was promulgated, so that we can understand better its arguments and why it was convincing to people when it was.
NOW, it's a pseudoscience because it's been debunked & is no longer mainstream scientific thinking. Calling historical eugenics a pseudoscience lets science & scientists of the past off the hook (Also, PS is more of a modern-day term. We had terms like "quackery" but eugenics was not that)

I found it abhorrent to deny a frequent doze of animation in my teens, when cartoons actually screened only Sundays. Campaigns against comics & D&D always had an alarmist bigoted tinge, but I totally welcome Australia's decision instead on worrying about withdrawal symptoms.

Looks like Angoulême comic book festival is not going to happen next year but this is no surprise in an industry event that's been plagued by sexism, nepotism and commercialism. Good time to make some welcome changes.
