I have a new article contribution in Chinese publ in the 30th issue of Zero G zine. Much thx to RiverFlow (Heliu) for the kind invitation to contribute, and (as always) big thx to Zixuan for translating. Very happy.
Actually one should see a continuum with Cambridge Analytical - for chire approach, a privatisation of automated campaign bots, not just for LULz but monetizing political outcomes & selling havoc.

The comics artist @rachaelsmith.bsky.social has just launched the collection of her amazing Nap Comix - she posts them up here on Bsky as well. They are very funny, but also enormously heartwarming. www.kickstarter.com/projects/fli...

Lesser known that other mangakas Daisuke Terasawa's Warashii was my first manga introduction to J-horror. It combined traditional Yōkai/yāoguài bestiary with some very literal jump-scare panels. It also features small person warashi (Japanese: 童子), an archaic term for a child.
Also "pivoting", whenever Zack or other techbros start using such vocabulary, I think they're signaling the same loyalty as Palantir/Mithril crowd...

Another graphic novel review up from me - The Power Fantasy continues to be just so goddamn /interesting/, because it takes its premises the right amount of seriously and gets properly invested in what they would mean morally and philosophically. I am so here for it.
