Yeah macaulay is the best I've found for searching a HUGE amount of bird photos and quickly filtering by date, location, behavior, age, etc, but I use inat for insects a lot!

Fantastic! Yeah the way wings cross and how that interacts with the tail is *such* a hard angle to get my head around without good photos showing how those feathers all fit together.
