I got Cyberpunk 2077! I spent a while on character creation to get V looking as much like me as possible. I think I did pretty well! What do y'alls think?

I'm kinda late to the party, but I've been watching Quantum Leap (2022) on Netflix and holy kittens, I can't recommend enough S01E12 "Let Them Play." It's explicitly pro-trans (& pro-trans youth in sports, at that!), and it portrays trans inclusion so meaningfully & powerfully that it made me cry 🥲
Ben Song (the main character of the 2022 version of Quantum Leap) holds a basketball with one arm, while his other arm is around the shoulder of Gia Mendez. Ben has "leaped" into Gia's father's body, and is having to learn on the fly what it's like to be the father of a young trans girl. Anyway, it's great.

So I was at the Portland #NoKings protest today. It was great! Very patriotic, very on-message, and very, very Portland. I love this city 💖

This time, I had to use two separate decals for the pink stripes in the trans pride flag, with each one having a slight angle to fit with the front of the board. I think that worked. The back half was easier, I just needed to add a white stripe to the middle of the pink area on the back. Presto! 🏳️‍⚧️

Here's how to make it yourself, if you want! Positioning the front decal (the pink stripes) was pretty straightforward, but the back decals (the wavy pattern on the car's "wings") were much more of a challenge, requiring some trial and error. I think the results are pretty good, though!

So, I remade the trans pride car I saw in the Open Network Test in #SonicRacingCrossWorlds! Turns out you need to use decals to make the pink stripes, but other than that it's pretty straightforward. I even added my own little touches, like the flags on the back & the cockpit colors. Try it yourself

I'm embarrassed to show that I placed 11th in this race… or did I place 12th?… but I'm really confused about who placed 7th 🤔 #SonicRacingCrossWorlds
The results of a race in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. I, as Sonic, received two Donpa Tickets for placing "11th"… but placed 12th, according to the list of characters and how they were scored for the Grand Prix. But, more curiously, in seventh place is "Cream y Cheese (corredor de IA)", with a character portrait of Sonic, and a hyphen where "7th" should be. The rest of the text is in English (I have the game set to English, after all). Oh, and this character, despite only placing seventh (or rather, "-"), apparently gained 99 points for the race, adding to a total of 999 points overall. The same result screen, but showing a better view of my custom car (well, from the side, at least), which is a hot pink "Retro Future" car (it has fins and other retro-futuristic details). The same result screen, only now the scores for the race have been added to the Grand Prix totals. The mysterious racer in seventh still has 999 total points, though.

(Also worth noting, and the article mentions this: the UK's new rules mean that trans people cannot use _any_ single-sex space _at all,_ in public _and_ private establishments. This is a ban on trans people in public life, period.)
If you are a UK resident (of any gender or gender identity), it's worth taking a moment and asking yourself how you would respond to being challenged, to being asked for documentation to use the toilet, to having your life investigated if not believed. Seriously, what would you do? This is not a hypothetical, but the legal regime we are entering. It will fall heavier on some than others, but we will all be subject to it.
