There are several words and phrases that have a particular context and resonance in football. ‘War Chest’ and ‘Swoop’ amongst them. Remains to be seen what any prospective Farke replacement would be able to do with either of those. #lufc

Thoughts on Brenden; The US/Marsch connection doesn’t help him. He also can’t be blamed for what we paid for him. He’s often frustrating and not my favourite either, but always gives 100%. We’ve had plenty of cult heroes over the years who did just that #lufc

Been in and out of Elland Road since May ‘73, but my first league game was Burnley in March ‘74, just before we won the league title; West Stand with my late dad, a fug of Woodbines and the occasional flying bog roll. Unexpected defeat, 1-4. Blubbed. Hope they lose tomorrow. #lufc
