I reached the true ending of Kirby Air Riders. The true ending is a fantastic spectacle! Recommended.

Clearing on the highest difficulty, “super hard,” didn’t feel essential to me. I suggest skipping it and playing on Hard at most unless you’re really interested in challenge runs.

With good logging it was so easy to find out what move was taken and why, making squashing bugs super easy and satisfying! check log, go to line number. Add a rule, move a rule up or down, or add a Solid or Empty condition. Setting up the line number logging early paid off.

The rotation system for the F Pentomino in my #FallingBlockJam game "Chunkster" took almost two full days to really nail down. it has 104 rules!

1st image is the specs it took for me to get a Domino rolling around and doing kicks and tucks… F Pentomino (2nd image) is proving to be quite the bear. was not ready for how many extra rules come from having chunks roll along the ground when spun. __LINE__ macros + log spam help me debug odd cases.

Imagining an alternate version of the Tetris rotation system where rotating blocks causes them to walk along the ground. Call it “paper” prototyping for my #fallingblockjam video game.

Finally some good news. Bluesky revived the previously-removed UI quirk where the profile picture nests perfectly underneath the up arrow button. They were misaligned for months.
