While we're doing our tutorial at ICME'25, there's also the MPEG meeting ongoing in Daejeon (KR). Here are some updates from enhanced compression beyond VVC capability (-27.27%) and neural network-based coding technology (-8.21%), from JVET-AM0006 freely available at jvet-experts.org.
