Before food processors, we used to shred the potatoes on a grater for latkes. Every member of the family would take their turn until they skinned their knuckles because we had a strict “no blood in the latkes” rule which I repeated once to a college classmate. Not everyone thinks that’s funny!

I have never been handed a puppy in an airport and I am going to need to speak to a manager about this.
