Does podcasting feel like talking to a wall?

Dang, I'd scrolled past a YouTube video a week or two ago that looked like it was about RAM prices skyrocketing, but I didn't click through to see the actual numbers. That's so much worse than I would've guessed.

So what's the solution for those of us who happen to live in Nassau County?

I connected a WiFi enabled solenoid valve to a hose and set up a script on my phone so when the camera detected a squirrel it got blasted with the hose briefly. It was very effective.

Something about the idea of wireless for anything other than a phone just feels wrong. But I guess when DSL (or satellite?) are your only other options... Can't imagine latency is great but as long as you're not doing online gaming it's probably not bad enough to be an issue.
