A worn out hound with her obsolete mech, however they are entirely too good to just have the courtesy to die in combat together. They can't simply be retired, because there is no system in place to deal with this, few have ever survived like this. So, they break out the same way they've disposed of all previous, an accident of friendly fire on the next mission. However, they survive this too. And knowing they are betrayed, they flee. They wander, they find mercenary work for a time to keep repairs up but even then, they are given the side eye for being so battle weary a pair. They both fall for the mechanic that's been helping maintain the frame and eventually all three strike off on their own as a little polycule.
