It wrecks my brain how we seem to accept tragic deaths like this as collateral. Is there any other activity for which we accept so much loss in our own communities?

I feel like everytime i watch Simpsons on Channel 4 something gets cut out. Once it was "Gay for Moleman". Another time it was a guy with nonstop hiccups saying "kill me".

So many "Christmas" songs are just about winter. Let it Snow or Winter Wonderland could be sung in February if it's cold enough.
