This has been one of my most popular pieces so far this year.

A road junction in the old town of Braubach.

Thrift store find!

A Bartmann jug. Probably a 20th century replica but it's from Frechen (the original source of these weird and wonderful little vessels in the 16th-18th century).

Mine for €1.

According to Japanese artist Genpei Akasegawa, a Thomasson is an architectural feature or structure that, despite remaining useless, is still maintained as part of the building.

How are we going to enforce that worldwide? By making everyone including vulnerable people sign into social media with zero anonymity?

I'm sure no one at all would abuse that for nefarious reasons!

OK it wasn't Sesame Street, it was The Wuzzles!

Remember The Wuzzles? I loved that show back in the day! Happy memories!

Cologne's cemeteries are one of the best places to see Indian parakeets this side of the Himalayas. Maybe the Catholic locals enjoy them, because they seem to sing "Maria! Maria!" every day from the forest canopy of a Gothic arboretum. Half-hidden in the trees they look like little walking bananas.

Nick Fuentes gave away the game in one of his recent videos. Trump is only the head of the camel. The rest is surging forward and we have to be aware that the right is changing tactics. However they are also facing a cultural backlash against nationalism and coping hard so consider that too.

If you ever come to Europe a wide-angle lens is a must.

Here's my work on a 28mm Sakar MC Wide Angle.

It would be so cool to have a resin cast of a sivatherium skull. Unfortunately no one I know of makes one that isn't custom work for museums that costs $$$$$

Room update: the chair is reassembled. Expect some photos of Reynard in this chair soon as I can get everything in its place.

Room so far. You can see my lantern, my shelf with hooks for bags etc. and that thing bundled up in cardboard is my one remaining piece of furniture from the US, an old Savonarola chair.

Still a lot to do (the area around the bed needs work and I haven't put up any pictures yet and we eventually want to paint) but here's how the room is coming along. We welcome the donation of more shelves, drawers, cupboards, etc. as well as flat storage boxes for under the bed.
