The pink lady video doesn't seem to support it. There's no gunshots on that video until the grey shirt agent unholsters his gun, steps back, takes aim at Pretti's back, and discharges into him deliberately.
Then they shoot him about 9 more times. Ugh.

I'm not certain/convinced that this is the case, but that model has some known issues. (example linked below). That said it's not clear to me from that video that the victim's gun goes off at all.
