That's what it looks like when the drill string re-enters the hole. Controlled from the bridge, a camera/sonar is used to find the funnel in the deep sea, before the ship moves into position & the hole is re-occupied.
Kinda like threading a needle on 5th Ave from the top of Empire State Building.
