I thought I'd try to psyche myself up for "The War Between the Land and the Sea" by finally watching the only Doctor Who spin-off I haven't seen yet.

I'm not sure if the Incomparable's "Total Party Kill" podcast could ever get Sara Pascoe on an episode, but she HAS played Dungeons and Dragons at least once (on a live-stream for Comic Relief) - and judging by this week's episode of QI, she has the right instincts for the game.

I'm not sure if the Incomparable's "Total Party Kill" podcast could ever get Sara Pascoe on an episode, but she HAS played Dungeons and Dragons at least once (on a live-stream for Comic Relief) - and judging by this week's episode of QI, she has the right instincts for the game.

Literally all of my favourite moments from this game were Jill getting furious.
It might only be a short game, but she was a lot more memorable than [waves vaguely at the majority of video game protagonists, whose names I've long-since forgotten.]

Well, I couldn't think of (or find) any movies set in Shrewsbury, but I do know of one that was filmed there - a 1984 adaptation of A Christmas Carol.
