Hello, Bluesky!

I'm a nerd whose main interests are a story from 2015 about a socially-awkward time-traveller and her headstrong companion who dies many times, and a story from 2015 about a socially-awkward time-traveller and his headstrong companion who dies many times.

Nicefield's playing Life Is Strange today!

I'm playing Life Is Strange today!

Why don't YOU play Life Is Strange today, too?
Perhaps its full name is "Eternally Asked What My Name Means" Dalek?
The Writer's Barely-Disguised Fear:
Working on five of my very favourite episodes had already given Toby Haynes a strong claim to my coveted Best Doctor Who Director award, but THIS might have made his position unassailable.
To make it clear when they're joking, some Internet users end their comedic comments with /j.

Since most of my comments are jokes, though, I've decided it'll be easier if I end all my serious comments with /s.
Literally all of my favourite moments from this game were Jill getting furious.

It might only be a short game, but she was a lot more memorable than [waves vaguely at the majority of video game protagonists, whose names I've long-since forgotten.]
True ... and this punk Akinator didn't know Jeff Slater, the protagonist of the G-Police games, so even this wasn't THAT impressive.
Crom: Origins.

Cromigins.

...Well, I don't know what YOUR thing was, but mine definitely was NOT anything.
Well, I know THAT can't be the right answer.

None of the levels in G-Police had a name.

It's taken me 15 years to finally get around to watching Doctor Who Confidential, but at least the mind-staggering revelations are worth the wait.
What is this, some kind of Lifta-Drop Pod?!
I was about to ask you if the same is true of Amy Pond, but according to Bing's AI that seems unlikely...

TWISTED METAL IS ON THE IPLAYER!!!! I've been trying to get so many people to watch this, it's brilliant and gory and silly, but it was on Paramount and only Star Trek people have Paramount.

Started watching Twisted Metal. I like it! Anthony Mackie is doing his best Will Smith impression, but not in a bad way

I’m sorry it may seem cute but Doctor Who only releases late Capaldi era soundtracks when it’s in a state of extreme distress.
Self-publishing my sci-fi comedy epic Gallivant wasn't exactly my first choice, due to my aversion towards all things self-publicising - but today I'll make an effort. After all, this is the 10th anniversary of my first novel!

Also, I finally finished the sequel.

Wait, wasn't that Albert Einstein?

Surely the video game Command and Conquer: Red Alert wouldn't have lied to me...
China Miéville's "Embassytown" is a serious story, and a good one so far ... but no amount of sci-fi context could stop from giggling at the line, "There were those who'd been made mad through cleavage."

Ooh, looks like BBC Three is repeating the Matt Smith era in double bills on Saturday nights, starting from 7:10 tonight with The Eleventh Hour. Series 5 is probably the strongest run ever innit?
