I just had the pleasure of test running @alem.forge42.dev 's first React Router workshop today with him, before the official one tomorrow. He did a great job with the workshop, and it was a pleasure to go through it with him. To all participants tomorrow: Enjoy the learning experience, have fun!

Omg the more I see from @astro.build, the more I love it. It’s the framework I would have wanted to create if it didn’t exist. Fonts, Images, CSP, sessions ,… it’s just right.

Congratulations to the PSF for making that decision. Many other companies and open-source projects should demonstrate some of that backbone!

This weekend was a delightful and blissful time spent with my brother and niece. It felt like healing, even though I wasn’t aware that I was broken ❤️🩹. Love you 🥰

Most companies have similar business needs for their software, but not all needs are met equally
IE: Error handling. Critical for biz needs. Yet so many companies I've seen absolutely neglect it. Why? Not enough engineers focusing on that discipline
Get good at that stuff and you'll be unstoppable

I’m concerned that I overdid myself during Leg Day, as my feet are burning so intensely that I can barely sit, stand, or walk 😅😂😂

Hot take: Next.js has become overly complex, even for an enterprise. It lost its identity. Look for simpler alternatives (enterprise friendly)
Content with JS? Choose @astro.build or @nuxt.com
Fully SPA? Go for @tanstack.com
Roll your own? @vite.dev and its ecosystem got you

Is Cam Cole the coolest Mfer on this earth? Few weeks ago I was told i should listen to his songs. So I did. Now finding out that he is living/touring England and the world in his self built, solar powered truck with his self built foot drums and mostly self built sound system WAT 🤯.

That’s super useful! Hopefully, as it seems, we will be able to add OpenTelemetry instrumentation to it and add a custom Prometheus endpoint to our RR7 apps.
Coming soon to a React Router near you - (unstable) instrumentation APIs!
Great for logging, perf tracing, OTEL, and more.

Wow, @astro.build is really looking good, and listening to Fred Schott talking about his ideas and their principles really makes it very interesting. Not being forced to use a single specific frontend framework like React is refreshing as well.

Huge milestone in v1.3 of @bun.sh for the JavaScript ecosystem with providing not only DB drivers for MySQL, Postgres, and SQLite but also a Redis client natively is amazing. Hope more standard things gets included into Bun like better and faster logging and profiling based on standards

As someone who has been using and advocating for Event Driven Architectures for years, seeing that @remix.run will utilize events through the Events API and adopt an approach that can be described as "Event Driven UI Development" truly resonates with me.

Until now, what I have seen of how @remix.run v3 will eventually look is quite enjoyable. It feels like returning to native APIs, moving away from layers of layers of layers of abstractions that require extensive tooling over tooling. This approach seems to be truly refreshing.
