My cousin's boyfriend was oddly chill about the whole thing afterward. I remember going to some kind of musical improv hangout later that week and both he and my cousin were super nice to me.

And I should mention, there's a big age gap between my siblings and I and these sets of cousins -- like 10-15 years IIRC. And my cousin was dating a proper adult!!

This was after my cousin's boyfriend had charmed us all day with songs he wrote and songs he made up about the stories we were telling him!! I felt soooo bad. He and my cousin left the party after the guitar was smashed, understandably.

Not to mention the near undressing one has to go through for TSA security! I have Pre-Check now, so thankfully a little easier, but making people take their belt off in public is just the tip of the uncomfyness of flying.

Yeah my electric leaf blower is unfortunately essential this time of year with the big leaf maple trees that dump an absurd amount on the driveway.
