i am not sayin the mods are bad people. i understand i myself am coming across as judgy. but yeah i feel like the way they handled the situation was kinda immature and also the equivalent of hitting a hornets nest with a baseball bat LOL. i also can totally empathize tho

also as a side note, the admin of the server also made me go like 🤨 cause i watched a video of hers a while back and she came across as very... condescending and judgy in it. which is why i DO have those preconceived notions that the mods r like that too

it really gives vibes of like "yall are peasants and we hate yall" but ALSO... at the same time, if i had to moderate a community of mostly teens, i'd also act that way so i shouldnt judge too harshly

if i rate smth 2/5 that means i didnt think it was good, not that it was "ok". the goodreads rating system gives me GRIEF cause i get recommended books based on shit ive rated three stars. CMON NOW

there are two fucking tiers of "liking" something, how does that even make sense??? and a goodreads 1 star is "i didnt like it." BITCH that is the LOWEST rating you give something, how does that automatically be assigned "i hated it" ??? dont even get me started how 2 stars means it was OK-

i really wanted to like it, but i think the problem is that the relationships do not feel like they burn slowly enough !!!! im all for the gradual progression/development of feelings, and if a character is INSTANTLY attracted i just Lose Interest

i think also it has fundamentally changed how i approach drawing bodies now?? it feels a bit more loose (and also slightly more messy). HOWEVER. i did notice a severe disconnect when i drew the body versus how i drew the face LMAO

this is not a knock on their method btw. i just would NOT have the patience for it so i honestly gotta give MEGA props to it
