My copy of Robin Mitchell’s Venus Noire finally arrived today and I’m stoked! Her interview on Sarah Bartmaan on Betwixt is probably my favourite episode. It’s a gift to be able to read Black womens’ experience and history by Black women. I paid a lot of money to read white men in school.

Quentin Tarantino is a weird little man and we shouldn’t listen to him, we should only watch his movies. Fiona Apple quit cocaine because of him. Absolutely separate the art from the artist and pretend the artist doesn’t exist, it’s ok.
