Oh yeah. It’s solidly in a “fun to think about” bucket for me. Theres so much that’d need to happen to make this remotely possible now.

Yeah that’s a fair point. Would be a neat little bonus to some degree but the resources needed to make it possible are overkill

It'd require a massive overhaul for existing EV chargers, but I do wonder what a timeline where all EVs, when left plugged in, can donate up to XXXkWh to stabilize the grid. As electrification increases, so does grid stability.

It'd require a massive overhaul for existing EV chargers, but I do wonder what a timeline where all EVs, when left plugged in, can donate up to XXXkWh to stabilize the grid. As electrification increases, so does grid stability.
