Currently I fix electric delivery trikes. Not classically trained as a bike mechanic so I draw on my experience working with larger machines. Youtube is my friend. Minimal CO2 footprint. Friend of Ukraine. героям слава
I’m all for ebike only pathways. Make it happen.

Making electricity will always be complex. So you try to find the solution with the least complexity. And if one thinks they have a better solution, it then requires enormous sums of money to put it to the test. We see that now with research into fusion energy which I think won’t be any better.

So disappointing. The sooner there is accountability the better.

Call his bluff and change the 500k to 500 trillion. If he wins, he tanks the economy.

What is the name of the song, будь ласка?

I’ve seen this before. Cheap gas leads to massive construction of gas burning power plants. The increased gas demand leads to a price spike that makes it unprofitable to operate the power plants. Most plants sit idle. Some even get demolished years later without ever having operated.

Get some businesses on board, maybe start out small like 5 or 10%. Get some news coverage. If other businesses like the idea they’ll adopt it. Eventually the market will come to a consensus on what level of volatility fee is appropriate. It’s basically an insurance policy when you think about it.

Add a 50% volatility fee to account for rapidly changing US trade policy.

They’re not wrong. The question is how many hundreds? It would be just as accurate to say there were millions of people but again, how many millions? The answer to the first question is a larger number and the answer to the second question is a smaller number.

What was the first point at which someone experienced a feeling of terror? Who was feeling this terror?

Who, what, where, when, how used to be the journalistic standards.

The Civil Rights movement wasn’t pretty either. People were beaten and died for standing up for what they believed in but the movement kept going anyway because they knew they were doing the right thing. What is so wrong with believing in equality and fairness that you have to die for it?

I think everyone going to these events should start wearing body cams. They’re not that expensive.

Canada is a great nation. Tariffs or not we’ll be fine but I think we should assume tariffs will be high and permanent and we should plan accordingly (which is precisely what Canada has been doing, so let’s keep at it).

Looks like that problem solved itself.

The Zimbabwe stock market went up 800% in 2023 because of inflation. How exactly does Trump expect to pay for a 1.5 T defense budget?

A person’s political views is going to creep into their investment choices no matter how much they try to remain objective toward the goal of making money. You’re probably invested in things (without knowing) that you would personally never choose based on moral grounds.

What a weird code phrase - but I guess that makes it unlikely for someone to accidentally say it.

Wind energy threatens America’s world dominance and that system of dominance relies on a very expensive military that controls the world’s oil supply. Take away the need for oil and you take away America’s power. That’s not why people use wind, though. Oil is more expensive than wind.

If it’s illegal to send out that check, does that make it illegal for the receiver of the illegal check to deposit the check?

If things aren’t going to plan, then maybe you had a bad plan.

It is insanity and it’s insanity we put up with it. Future generations will wonder why we were so insane to allow it to happen and then they’ll smugly go pretending something similar couldn’t possibly happen to them.

These are not lies if it’s senile delusion.
